Update from Honduras
Greetings brothers,
In the midst of the pandemic we thank God because through the generosity of our benefactors we have been able to support two food programs in two neighborhoods with large populations and extreme poverty. With these two initiatives, we have distributed more than 4,000 plates of food during these five months to children and the elderly in the midst of a social crisis due to the lack of economic means for families, due to isolation as well as loss of jobs and sources of income. During these five months, we have delivered more than 150 pounds of powdered milk to underweight children. We have started this program this year with the support of our benefactors and the fruit of two medical dispensaries thanks to the support of our leaders and alliances. With a program of Pastoral Health founded by a diocesan Spanish priest, it has brought great benefits to our communities in such need.
In the midst of the crisis we have supported a single mother with four small children, a victim of domestic abuse and who thanks to our involvement she was able to make a change for the better in her life, free of abuse leading to a better future for herself and her children. She is a testimony of our service as Missionary Servants of the Holy Trinity in our missions and the blessings of our benefactors who trust our administration to help our brothers and sisters in greatest need.
